    The lobby was locked when I arrived, how am I supposed to check in? The pool was filthy with cigarette butts everywhere-definitley not kid-friendly. I woudl ve been even more impressed if I received a complimentary drink for my troubles. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't with such a disaster of a stay.

    The hotel's position was good, right by the Beach and other attractions, and the ocean. Friendly and very, very nice staff that liked their guests.

    Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very poor.

    It was just a balanced option for a weekend escape in Myrtle Beach with excellent value for money. The bed was surprisingly comfortable despite the overall state of the hotel. Bring your own cleaning supplies, just in case things aren't as tidy as you'd hope.

    Each morning, waking up to the beautiful sea view was the highlight of the stay. The cleanliness left much to be desired with noticeable dirt on surfaces, and the air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature.     Checked in and the lady at the front desk was super friendly and had me laughing. I seriously felt welcome right away! The pool was a great way to unwind, and I enjoyed relaxing by it until closing time. The toilet had a little issue with the lever, but it didn't really put a damper on our fun 🌊

    The Anchor Hotel had a double room with a sea view that was a great escape! It offered a cozy atmosphere, complete with a private bathroom and a tv.
